This August some lifters will be at Tony
Cardella's and Christy Newman's Summer
Powerfest which will be in Houston. It
promises to be another great local level
USAPL meet. There will be a large
contingent of collegiate lifters there, from
both Texas and Louisiana.
In November, the University Cup
Challenge will showcase collegiate lifters
from Louisiana...Perhaps our friends from
Texas will show up again as well. This is a
great meet, second only to the National
Collegiate Championships as a
showcase for collegiate level lifting.
March, 2009: THE BIG SHOW!!! Paul
Fletcher and Fletcher's House of Power
will host the 2009 National Collegiate
Championships in BATON ROUGE.
